Hillsdale Offering Flu Vaccines Tuesday

Get the flu vaccine Tuesday in Hillsdale.

HILLSDALE, NJ — The borough's Board of Health is offering flu vaccines at Borough Hall Tuesday.

Vaccinations will be administered from 5 to 7 p.m.

Children from 3 to 17 may be vaccinated only if a parent or guardian is with them. Some first-time recipients from 3 to 8 years old will need to receive a second vaccination.

High-dose vaccines will be available for residents 65 and older. Those doses cost $35 and are not covered by Medicare.

Vaccines cost $25. Payment with cash or check only, no credit cards. Medicare HMO carriers also pay $25. Medicare participants must bring their Medicare Part B card in order for Medicare to be billed.
