Hillsdale Woman Severely Injured In Hit-And-Run: Police
76-year-old man was allegedly not aware he hit the woman, police said.

A 70-year-old Hillsdale woman was in critical condition Monday after she was struck by a pick-up on Piermont Avenue at about 8 a.m. Monday, Hillsdale Police said.
The police received a 911 call that a large, black pick-up struck a woman on Piermont Avenue and continued traveling west on the road, police said.
Police officers administered first aid to the woman and called in a medical helicopter to the scene, police said.

Police broadcast the vehicle’s description and found it and the driver, a 75-year-old Old Tappan man, at a local business, police reported.
The driver was unaware that he may have been involved in an accident and was not charged, police said.

The woman was in critical condition at Hackensack University Medical Center Monday morning in critical condition; police said.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
