It's A Late Night For Township's Tax Office

Today the township's  will be open until 6 p.m. for residents' convenience. Typically the office, which opens weekdays at 8:30 a.m., closes at 4:30 p.m. But a new policy keeps it open later four times a year so residents who want to pay their taxes in person after business hours can do so.

The late nights coincide with the last day of the 10-day grace period the township has for residents to pay their quarterly taxes, which are due Nov. 1, Feb. 1, May 1 and Aug. 1.
