CATS Rescue Group in Need of Donations For Kitten Season

After a long winter, it is finally Spring! For Caring About The Strays (CATS), Inc., “April Showers” will bring “May Meowers!” To help get them through kitten season, CATS is holding a season long “Kitten Shower.” Much needed food for the kittens and their Moms include Wellness adult cat & kitten food (canned & dry), Royal Canin Mother & Babycat Dry food and KMR Kitten Milk Replacer Powder. The preferred cat litters are Dr. Elsey’s Precious Cat Kitten Attract Training Cat Litter, sWheat Scoop Natural Cat Litter, & World’s Best Cat Litter Scoopable. The organization is a firm believer in using only high-quality food which pays off long term in healthier cats and kittens. They also try to use as many environmental friendly products and cat litters as possible. Basic supplies such as cat toys, small litter boxes, small paper plates and paper towels are also needed. Gift cards to pet and grocery stores or monetary donations would be greatly appreciated.

Donations may be dropped off at CATS Resale Shop, 80 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ, Tues -Sat., 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. They may also be dropped off at Pet Supplies Plus, 391 Broadway, Hillsdale, NJ, in the CATS donations box, during regular store hours, Sun. 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Mon. - Sat. 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM. If you would like a donation picked up, please email CATSAdoption@aol.com.

A complete list of the items needed is on the “Wish List” board of CATS’ new Pinterest account, www.pinterest.com/caringaboutthestrayscatsinc. If you are not a current Pinterest user, now would be a great time to join and follow CATS. The boards are updated daily, showing all cats available for adoption, details on adoption events, rescue efforts, special programs, TNR and fundraising activities. In addition to the many animal related boards, there are also boards for holidays, foods, humor, crafts, etc.
