Just a little clarity on the DMF truck. Again last night, Feb. 8, the truck was not in the DMF yard.
The DMF truck has not been in the yard at night since I first noticed it, which was on the 26th of January. As stated, it was reported the truck was not in the yard this weekend. That is correct.

The truck spent the weekend away from our yard on Jan. 29 and Jan. 30 also--documentation will be provided when and if needed--and all of last week leading up to this past weekend.
If the director of DMF along with the mayor and acting administrator feel that the township should supply a vehicle to township employees for personal use, and pay for the gas and wear and tear of the vehicle to drive a trip distance of 23.52 miles and a time of 34 minutes one way (total round trip 47.04 miles per day), then the people of the township need to understand here their tax dollars are being spent.

However, I will be asking the council president to further discuss this and suggest passing an ordinance to stop this unnecessary waste of taxpayer dollars.
