This Stretch Of Route 17 One Top 10 Places You're Likely To Crash: Report
There were 231 crashes on a two-mile section of the highway from Powers Drive to Linwood Avenue, an analysis shows.
Route 17 can be an aggravating road to drive on sometimes. But one section of the roadway in Paramus is more treacherous than the rest.
An analysis of the state Department of Transportation 2014 crash statistics shows that the third most crashes in the state occurred on Route 17 from Powers Drive to Linwood Avenue, NJ.com reported; 231 crashes occurred on that section of the road.
The Paramus entry is the only one in the top 10, the report states. A portion of Route 22 in Union Township was number one with 246 crashes.
