Pascack Valley Regional High School District Named To AP Honor Roll

Students generally score high on the Advance Placement exam than their peers.

HILLSDALE, N.J. — Pascack Valley Regional High School was again named to the the College Board's AP District Honor Roll, recognizing its students' achievements in Advanced Placement (AP) classes.

The school received the honor previously; more than 430 schools nationwide received the distinction.

The AP Honor Roll recognizes districts that offer high levels of AP classes while having high numbers of students receiving final exam scores of three or more, on a scale of one to five.

Districts are judged on increased participation in AP classes, by at least 4 to 11 percent, depending on a district's size, and increase in high scores by students of minority groups and an increase in student scores of three or more.

All four districts were previously named to the honor roll.
