Police: Victim Of Route 3 Crash Identified
James Hart III, 39, was killed Monday when a truck hit an overpass, dumping its load onto a car, police said.

Authorities have released the identity of the person killed when a shipping container fell off a trailer-trailer and onto a car on Route 3 west Monday.
The driver of the car, James Hart III, 39, was killed in the accident, NorthJersey.com reported, citing Rutherford police personnel.
Authorities said they expect to issue motor vehicle summonses to Ali Mutakabbi, a Clifton resident, who was driving a 1992 Peterbilt truck carrying a shipping container on Route 3 west, the website reported.

The container hit the overpass and fell onto the 2014 Honda Hart was driving, killing him.
Police are trying to determine why the truck Mutakabbi was driving hit the overpass in the first place, authorities told the website.

The crash closed Route 3 west for hours. Traffic was diverted onto Route 17 south to Rutherford and then back onto Route 3 west.
The office of Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli is investigating the incident.
