Superman Screening Flies To Next Thursday In Westwood
Rain grounded Westwood's outdoor movie, but "Superman" will get another chance to take flight next Thursday.
WESTWOOD, NJ — Even Superman has to yield to Mother Nature.
Westwood Recreation postponed Thursday night’s Movies in the Park screening of the 2025 film Superman because of rain, moving it to next Thursday at Veterans’ Memorial Park.
“Sadly the rain has put a damper on our Movies in the Park plans for tonight,” the department said.

The 2025 film, rated PG-13, will begin at 8 p.m., or around sundown. Admission and popcorn are free, giving families a chance to bring a blanket or lawn chair for a movie beneath the stars.
Recreation officials pitched the new date as “a treat after two days of school before a long weekend,” making the screening a reward as students ease back into routines.
