Tonight's Westwood Council Meeting: Westvale Payments, 2011 Meeting Schedule and More
The meeting will begin at 8 p.m. in the municipal complex
items are once again on the agenda for tonight's work session meeting, scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. at the , 101 Washington Ave.
Mayor John Birkner Jr. is scheduled to give an update about the Westvale Park project, which officials have estimated will be complete in the coming weeks.
In addition to the update, there are resolutions on the consent agenda authorizing payment to contractor Let It Grow, Inc. and a change order for the park project.

Council members are also expected to discuss the 2011 holiday and meeting schedule.
Because tonight's meeting is a work session, council members are not scheduled to vote on , LB-1, which runs on Broadway from Lake Street to the Hillsdale border, and LB-3, which is on Kinderkamack Road from Old Hook Road to the Emerson border. The council voted to introduce both ordinances at the last council meeting Nov. 23, but Borough Clerk Karen Hughes said council members typically vote to approve ordinances at public meetings. She said the ordinances will be up for final approval at the Dec. 21 council meeting.
