Two Ordinances Up for Approval at Township Council Meeting
Councilmen are expected to vote on the Certificate of Continued Occupancy and approval of personnel manual ordinances Monday

Members of the Washington Township council are expected to vote on the approval of two ordinances during the meeting Monday night after holding public hearings. Both ordinances were introduced Sept. 26.
The first is the Certificate of Continued Occupancy (CCO), which councilmen said is meant to protect home buyers or occupants from unforeseen problems and expenses. If approved, the would require the seller to pay $200, which would cover two inspections. It also outlines a fine of $100 per day if the seller does not fix problems within a given time frame.
