Victoria Csatay Of River Vale To Perform In 'School Of Rock' Musical

Victoria Csatay, a 6th grader at Holdrum Middle School, will be playing Sophie in SCHOOL OF ROCK Youth Production at UCPAC May 20-22, 2016.

The cast features talent from Broadway, TV & film, with all of the musicians playing live onstage.
School of Rock is a brand new musical based on the famous Paramount film. The stage musical on Broadway is produced by Andrew Lloyd Webber, who has composed 14 new songs to create a score. School of Rock, with its sensational live kids’ rock band, is a loving testimony to the transforming power of music. Victoria will share the role with Raquel Wallace who recently danced in the Justin Bieber Purpose World Tour in Boston.
Victoria Csatay has previously been seen in Turandot at the Metropolitan Opera House, in the TV Pilot of This Way 2 Broadway, at NJPAC with NJPAC Jazz for Teens, as Pepper in Annie (KOTA) and is a dancer with Thommie Retter's NYC Tap Crew, and has performed in theatres on Broadway and off-Broadway.
Scenes from the School of Rock movie, starring Jack Black, were filmed at UCPAC in 2002. The 1,300-seat historical Vaudeville Theatre continues to host celebrity artists, concerts, musicals and community events.
Victoria will be performing on opening night May 20th and the May 22nd matinee.
