Washington Twp. EMTs Donate Equipment To The Needy In Nicaragua
The Volunteer Ambulance Corps also donates and loans out used equipment to several local towns.

TOWNSHIP OF WASHINGTON, NJ — The town's Volunteer Ambulance Corps collected and donated used medical equipment to the needy in Nicaragua recently.
Naomi Theisz, her husband, Nichols, and Robert Grimaldi, collect and refurbish used medical equipment donated from the local community. Recently, they collected equipment and donated to Peace Works, a nonprofit that shipped the equipment to Nicaragua.
The owners of Floral Expressions by Maria & Larry loaned their van to transport the equipment to Peace Works.

Equipment includes: Crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs, shower chairs, and hospital beds.
The team has collected and donated equipment to dozens of Bergen County municipalities and local residents.
