Westwood Gets New Interim Administrator

Benjamin Kezmarsky, of Mahwah, will take over the position for at least three months.

Mahwah resident Benjamin Kezmarsky, a former chief technology officer for Bergen County, has been named the new Westwood Borough administrator, according to a NorthJersey.com report.

Kezmarsky was chosen unanimously by the Borough Council and began his new position on Monday, the report states.

The temporary appointment will last at least three month but can be renewed on a month-by-month basis after that, according to the report.

Kezmarksy noted that his experience in finance, technology and county politics has prepared him for this new assignment, the report states.

Westwood has been without an administrator since earlier this year when Bob Hoffmann was removed by a unanimous vote of the council, according to the report.
