Westwood Man Among 8 Charged In Bergen County Child Porn Bust

Billed as "Operation Reboot," the Prosecutor's Office announced the arrest of seven men and a juvenile on child porn charges.

WESTWOOD, NJ — A Westwood man was among seven adults and a juvenile arrested on child porn charges over the last two weeks, the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office announced.

Billed as "Operation Reboot," the child porn bust included the seizure of over 32,000 files from online accounts and electronic devices.

These files include videos and images of "child rape," and show children as young as infants and toddlers in "nude, semi-nude, or sexually explicit poses," the Prosecutor's Office said.

Damian R. Evans, 33, of Westwood, was arrested on Aug. 18 and charged with possession of child pornography and possession of large capacity ammunition magazines, authorities say.

An investigation determined that Evans "viewed, downloaded, or possessed" well over 5,000 files which show children in nude or sexually explicit situations.

He was released "with conditions" following first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
