Westwood Man Had Kiddie Porn Of Young Boys: Prosecutor

Charles E. Schwab, 18, was charged with distribution and possession of child porngraphy, authorities said.

WESTWOOD, N.J. — A Westwood man was charged with possession and distribution of child pornography featuring images and videos of prepubescent boys, said Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal.

The prosecutor's office Cyber Crimes Unit, while conducting an investigation Friday involving Charles E. Schwab, 18, discovered that he used a laptop computer and other electronic devices to access the internet and view of child pornography and videos featuring prepubescent boys, Gerwal said.

Schwab was arrested in Westwood Friday and charged with endangering the welfare of a child, to wit, possession of child pornography, and distribution of child pornography, Gerwal said.

Schwab was issued a summons and released on his own recognizance, the prosecutor said. He is due in Bergen County Judicial Processing Court the morning of March 22.

The prosecutor's office Cyber Crimes Task Force, the Hillsdale Police Department and the River Vale Police Department conducted the investigation.
