Westwood's Reorganization Meeting Scheduled for Tonight

The 117th reorganization meeting of the Borough of Westwood will take place tonight at 7 p.m. at the . The Sine Die meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Councilman Robert Miller and Councilwoman Ingrid Quinn will be sworn in during the reorganization meeting. Both were reelected in November in an uncontested race. They will each repeat the oath of office for the three-year terms.

Borough professionals, council committee assignments and appointments to borough boards are scheduled to be announced. Council members will also decide who will be the governing body's president.

Police reserves, Ambulance Corps officials, Fire Department officials and board appointees will also be sworn in tonight at the reorganization meeting.

Members of the public will be permitted to speak during the meeting as well.
