• Turkey Man, 21, Drowns Off North Wildwood Beach After Surfers Pull Him From the Water and Rescuers Rush in Just After 2 P.m. (centralrecorder.com) — A 21-year-old man from Turkey drowned off North Wildwood on Wednesday after surfers pulled him from the water and rescuers rushed him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Officials, noting other recent drownings in Wildwood and Ocean City, are again urging local swimmers to stay in guarded areas and respect changing ocean conditions along the Wildwoods shoreline.
