Though these conditions often share overlapping symptoms, important differences should be understood to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective care.
This workshop will shed light on how mental illness can mimic dementia, and vice versa, leading to potential misdiagnosis. The ongoing stigma surrounding mental illness and how it impacts patient care will also be discussed.
