2026 Woodbridge Food Drive Raises More Than $30,000 And 21,000 Pounds Of Food

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — The 2026 Woodbridge Township Have-A-Heart food drive collected more than 21,500 pounds of non-perishable food, and more than $31,000 in cash donations.

All of this will be given to local food pantries. There are 10 food banks in Woodbridge, which feed approximately 1,400 families each month through the network of We Feed Woodbridge food pantries.

This year, more than 100 Woodbridge corporations, businesses, retail outlets, charitable organizations and residents contributed, as did all 24 schools in the Woodbridge public school district.

"The Have-A-Heart food drive is one of the most important programs that we as a community participate in each January and February,” said Mayor John McCormac. "I am proud to be part of the effort to extend the generosity of the holiday season and to replenish and restock Township food banks."
