24-Hour Fitness Opening In Woodbridge Saturday

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — 24 Hour Fitness will be opening their newest club in Woodbridge this Saturday, December 15.

The Woodbridge 24 Fitness is located at 1624 Saint Georges Ave in Avenel (in the old PathMark/KMart Plaza). From 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. this Saturday, they will be having a free celebration, which includes club tours, prize drawings, group training demonstrations, innovative GX24® classes and more. The grand opening marks the company's tenth location in New Jersey and their first Woodbridge location.

“The previous occupant of the space was Pathmark Grocery Story, which occupied the space for up to 20 years. The grocery store closed in 2015 and the space has been vacant for a few years. This location is now a flagship for our presence in Middlesex County and is a great addition to our emerging Northern New Jersey club network,” said Ray Dewhirst, vice president of real estate for 24 Hour Fitness.
