4 Injured In Shooting Outside Woodbridge Nightclub

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Four people were injured in an early morning shooting outside a night club in Woodbridge.
Officer first responded to The Palace, 13989 Jefferson Drive in Woodbridge, at about 2:15 a.m. Sunday for a report of shots fired. They found three male security guards and a female bystander inside the club who sustained injuries after being hit or grazed by bullets, according to a news release from the Prince William County Police Department.
They were taken to an area hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening, police said Sunday.

An investigation revealed a verbal argument, which started inside the nightclub escalated after it moved outside to the parking lot. The shooter then got a gun and started firing toward the crowd, according to authorities.
Several shell casings have been located in the parking lot, police said.

The shooter, who is described as a Hispanic male, got into a dark-colored sedan following the shootings and fled the area. Authorities say he is between 5-feet, 3-inches and 5-feet, 8-inches tall; has a clean-shaven face and a tattoo under his right eye; and short black hair.
He was last seen wearing a blue jacket or shirt, dark-colored jeans and white shoes.
The Prince William County Police Department is looking to talk with anyone who may have witnessed the shooting or witnessed anything in The Palace prior to the shooting. Anyone with information that could aid their investigation can call 703-792-7000.
