50 Woodbridge Residents Honored For Their Community Service
This past Sunday, a group of 50 Woodbridge residents were given the Mayor's Community Volunteer Award for distinguished community service.
WOODBRIDGE, NJ — This past Sunday, a group of 50 Woodbridge residents who volunteer in the community were honored and given the 2019 Mayor’s Community Volunteer Award for distinguished community service.
This diverse group helps their neighbors in countless ways, through volunteer service that includes their church, student tutoring, athletic coaches, hospital aides, senior resident assistance, clothing and food drive coordinators and Woodbridge first aid and fire squad members.
These residents also assist the area homeless, participate in the annual Tooling Around the Township home repair program, and many more community service endeavors and programs.

All were honored and thanked at a service Sunday morning, Oct. 20 at the Woodbridge Community Center.
