8th Annual Central Jersey Charity BeerFest Set For Parker Press Park in Downtown Woodbridge

Taste New Jersey’s finest local handcrafted beers at the 8th Annual Central Jersey Charity BeerFest slated to get underway on Sat., Sept. 27, 2014 from 1:00 to 5:00 P.M. at Parker Press Park in downtown Woodbridge.

Sponsored by the J.J. Bitting Brewing Company of Woodbridge, the Central Jersey BeerFest is bigger and better than ever, with more New Jersey breweries offering specialty brews, live music and entertainment, food vendors, and more. Participating Breweries: J.J. Bitting Brewing Co.; Tun Tavern; Pizzeria Uno; Harvest Moon Brewery; Cricket Hill Brewery; Boaks Brewing Co.; Eastern Brewing Co. and beers from Brooklyn Brewery (Post Rd. Pumpkin, Brown Ale); Captain Lawrence (IPA, Golden Delicious); Clown Shoe (Clemintine, Tramp Stamp) and Sam Adams Brewing Co (Cherry Wheat, Rebel).

Admission for the festival is $25.00 for adult “beer samplers” and $15 for adult “non-beer samplers.” Children under 12 are free. Those wishing to sample the many micro-brews must provide identification and proof of legal drinking age. Admission includes the official BeerFest sampler glass and free parking.

Proceeds from the Central Jersey Charity BeerFest will be donated to Megan Knight and family of Fords. Megan, 8 Years Old, is battling a large inoperable brain tumor and is undergoing chemotherapy.
