The Holiday Craft Fair is open at Brunswick Square mall on Rt. 18 now through Dec. 24.
The official lighting of the Woodbridge Township Christmas Tree will be Friday, Dec. 4 at 5:00 p.m. Santa will be there, as well as other special guests and free refreshments.

The Holiday Model Train Show at the Barron Arts Center will be open at 5 p.m. on Friday; stop by after the tree lighting. The model train show is open to the public through December 27, and exhibit hours are Monday-Friday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 2 to 4 p.m. Groups are welcome; call 732-634-0413 to make a reservation.
Children are invited to design and decorate their very own gingerbread cookie on Saturday, Dec. 5 from 11:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Parker Press Park. Cookies and all the toppings will be provided. (Note: Pre-registration is required. Call the Woodbridge Rec Dept. at (732) 596-4048 to sign up.)

Breakfast with Santa and His Furry and Feathered Friends on Saturday, Dec. 5. Bring the kids to a pancake breakfast, meet Santa and tour the petting zoo at the Middlesex County 4-H Center, 645 Cranbury Road in East Brunswick. Two seatings, at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Reservations must be made; call 732-398-5261.
Breakfast with Jesus from 9 a.m. to noon on December 5 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fords. There will be breakfast, crafts for kids, a concert of “Glorious” and Christmas carol sing-a-longs. Free admission.
Christmas Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 5 at Our Lady of Lourdes, 44 Cleveland Avenue in Milltown. There will be holiday shopping, including food and vintage jewelry.
The 55th Annual Holiday Parade down Main Street is set for Sunday, Dec. 6 at 1:30 p.m. The parade begins at Woodbridge High School and ends at Town Hall.
Free holiday concert on Friday, Dec. 11 at 7:30 p.m. Hear Brothers in Harmony, a 100-men world-class a capella and barbershop quartet singing group made up of men from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and New York. The concert will be held at Woodbridge Middle School. No reservations needed.
Pictures With Santa will be Saturday, Dec. 12 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at Parker Press Park. Donate a non-perishable item and take your picture with Santa Claus.
Also, enter your home or business in the Woodbridge holiday home decorating contest. Send an email of your home to RecreationDepartment@twp.woodbridge.nj.us. Include your name and address so judges can drive by. This year, township residents will vote on who they want to win. Go to www.twp.woodbridge.nj.us/Departments/Recreation and vote. The contest will run until January 7 and winners will be announced on Friday, January 9. Check Patch for who won!
