The Latest Woodbridge Area COVID Vaccine Site List

The number of coronavirus vaccine sites has expanded. As of Jan. 29, here's where you can get one now:

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — As of Friday, Jan. 29 Middlesex County announced several new coronavirus vaccine locations, such as the Heldrich Hotel in New Brunswick and Raritan Bay Medical Center's sites in both Perth Amboy and Old Bridge.

See the latest Middlesex County list of vaccine sites below; the state has compiled them all. Some are accepting appointments directly, but others are not.

Health Commissioner Judith Persichilli has said the goal is to vaccinate 70 percent of the adult population by the spring. Gov. Phil Murphy announced that New Jersey has created a county-by-county vaccine hub that reports the number of immunizations across the state.

Persichilli said New Jersey currently doesn't have a lot of vaccine availability, but she expects that to change soon. President Biden announced he was activating the Defense Production Act, to ramp up the production of personal protective equipment, as well as testing and vaccine supplies.

Persichilli said her hope is to continue to expand the number of "mega-sites" in convention centers and large spaces, aiming for 1,000 people vaccinated a day.

New Jersey expanded the list of eligible people, allowing police and fire professionals and people older than 65 to get the vaccine.
