Woodbridge, NJ - Woodbridge will be installing audible pedestrian crossing signals at several key, busy street intersections in town.

These audible crosswalks are designed to blind, disabled or elderly pedestrians safely cross busy roads. You'll soon see — and hear! — the crossing signals at the following intersections: New Brunswick Avenue & King Georges Post Road, County Routes 501/616 and Amboy Avenue and Ford Avenue.

The signals were paid for by Middlesex County and the New Jersey Department of Transportation. Woodbridge is a participant in the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority’s “Street Smart” pedestrian safety-driver campaign.
