Members of the Manantial de Vida Pentecostal congregation were singing around 2 p.m. when they heard a cracking sound, witnesses told WCBS 880 and NJ.com.
Moments later, a 30-square-foot section of the ceiling caved in at the Korean Union United Methodist Church at 446 West Grand Ave., according to WCBS.

Initially, more than a dozen people were trapped inside the church, NJ.com reported.
A total of 14 people were injured: 13 had minor injuries and one had a serious, but non-life threatening injury, according to WCBS.
