Avenel Krauszer’s Sells $50,000-Winning Lottery Ticket
Check your pockets if you play the lottery! The Krauszer's in Avenel sold a ticket that won a $50,000 third-place prize Wednesday.

AVENEL, NJ — The Krauszer’s in Avenel sold a lottery ticket that won a $50,000 third-place prize in Wednesday night's drawing, the NJ state lottery announced.
A winner has not yet been publicly identified.
Three New Jersey Lottery tickets matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn for the Wednesday, Sept. 29 drawing, winning the $50,000 third-tier prize. Those tickets were sold at the following locations:

- Middlesex County: Krauszer’s Food Store, 119 Avenel St., Avenel
- Passaic County: The Liquor Depot, 534 Van Houten Ave., Clifton
- Union County: BP Gas, 1101 East Jersey St., Elizabeth
The winning numbers for the Wednesday drawing were: 02, 07, 11, 17 and 32. The Red Power Ball number was 11. The Power Play was 3X.
