Back To School: Woodbridge 2021-22 School Calendar

Here are the most important dates for the first half of the 2021-22 school year in Woodbridge:

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Woodbridge, and here is the school calendar for the upcoming academic year.

The first day of school for Woodbridge public schools is Sept. 7.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its year-and-a-half point.

As Patch reported, Woodbridge schools will make a new decision on masks later this August, depending how much the delta variant is surging by the first day of school. Woodbridge school superintendent Joe Massimino said he is waiting for further guidance from Gov. Murphy, and the state Dept. of Education and Dept. of Health, and will make a decision for the fall in mid- to late-August.

First Day: Sept. 7

Fall break: Mon, Nov 1 - Fri, Nov 5

Veterans' Day (no school): Nov. 11

Thanksgiving break: Early dismissal on Nov. 24, off Nov. 25, 26
