BCB Bank Provides Support for The Gateway Family YMCA Fundraiser

BCB Bank provided a $3,000 sponsorship donation to The Gateway Family YMCA in support of the Y We Care: Tricky Tray Auction Fundraiser. The donation was presented by Donna Steinmetz of BCB Bank to Melynda A. Disla, President and Chief Executive Officer, Rodger D. Koerber, EVP, Chief Operating Officer and Jessica Samolewicz, Branch Executive Director at The Gateway Family YMCA – Five Points Branch, 201 Tucker Avenue in Union.

Disla, President and CEO, The Gateway Family YMCA. “The Y We Care: Tricky Tray Fundraiser is our major fundraising event for our YMCA Annual Campaign. The Y We Care: Tricky Tray Fundraiser for YMCA financial assistance will be held on November 1, 2023, at Galloping Hill Caterers in Union. The event provides fundraising support for YMCA financial assistance for programs, services, and membership.

The Gateway Family YMCA’s Annual Support Campaign provides funding to support community financial assistance for housing, childcare, drowning prevention, social isolation for seniors, chronic disease management, wellness opportunities and membership. In 2022, The Gateway Family YMCA provided over $250,000 in financial assistance to individuals in the local community.
