Bear Spotted Again in Woodbridge Wednesday

Woodbridge, NJ - He's baaaack. Or rather, he probably never went away in the first place.

The bear spotted in Woodbridge Tuesday has been seen Wednesday morning, in the area of Auth Avenue off Middlesex Avenue in the Iselin section, police told Patch.

Police remind everyone not to approach the bear if you see it. The bear probably bedded down in a wooded area in or near Iselin overnight, police said. Here's why you should not be surprised to see bears in Woodbridge Township.

A black bear was seen in Scotch Plains on June 8; a second was spotted on June 9 and a baby black bear was seen in South Brunswick in late April.
