Body of Edison Man, 25, Found in Highland Park
His body was found by the Amtrak tracks, with injuries consistent with a train strike.

Highland Park, NJ - The body of a young man from Edison who has been missing since last month was found this week by the Amtrak train tracks in Highland Park, and has injuries on it that are consistent with a train strike.
On Monday, Dec. 5, at 8:57 a.m., Amtrak police were notified by an Amtrak track inspector that a deceased body was found near the track area in Highland Park. Injuries were consistent with a train strike, Amtrak spokesman Craig Schulz said.
It is the body of Thomas Oliphant, 25, of North Edison, Edison police confirmed to MyCentralJersey.com. He was first reported missing Nov. 11 by his family. The police said he left his home after an argument with his family, but his family said there was no argument and he just said he was going for a walk. He never returned.
