Body Found Monday in North Brunswick: Police Report

A man's dead body was found in an abandoned home on Joyce Kilmer Avenue.

North Brunswick, NJ - Police discovered the body of an unidentified man in a vacant home in North Brunswick Township Monday, Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey and Director Kenneth McCormick of the North Brunswick Police Department announced.

The man, whose identity has yet to be confirmed, was discovered at the house on Joyce Kilmer Avenue in the township shortly after township maintenance workers called authorities at 9:26 a.m. to report an apparent break-in at the vacant home.

Police arrived and discovered the man, who was pronounced dead.

An autopsy is scheduled to be performed by the Middlesex County Medical Examiner’s Office. The results were not immediately available.
