BREAK THE CYCLE OF VIOLENCE WITH THE WOODBRIDGE TOWNSHIP DOMESTIC VIOLENCE RESPONSE TEAM

Join members of the Woodbridge Township Domestic Violence Response Team (DVRT) at the Woodbridge Main Library on Thursday, Nov. 5 @ 76pm

Domestic violence is a difficult topic for discussion. It is taboo in our society—not to be discussed at the dinner table, nor around the water cooler. The violence is extremely personal—between intimate couples, or family members—and is traditionally kept behind closed doors, and out of public display. It is treated as something not to be talked about.

Yet one in four women has been the victim of severe physical violence by an intimate partner in their lifetime, and more than half of these women live in households with children under the age of 12. It is a problem too critical to ignore.

Please join members of the Woodbridge Township Domestic Violence Response Team (DVRT) at the Woodbridge Main Library on Thursday, November 5th, at 7:00 p.m., for an informational presentation about domestic violence in our community and how to take a stand against it.
