New Jersey and the American Revolution

Event Details

Woodbridge Main Library, 1 George Frederick Plaza, Woodbridge Township, NJ, 07095

Join us as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of America

New Jersey was the ‘Crossroads of the American Revolution’; the site of more fighting than any other state, including the war’s most important victory: Washington Crossing the Delaware and the ensuing Battle of Trenton. While justly celebrated, this seminal event in the history of the state and the nation has entered the realm of mythology.  As a result, much of the received wisdom about that battle and the American Revolution more broadly are often wrong. Join us June 10 at 7PM at the Woodbridge Main Library for a presentation that will discuss the Declaration of Independence, and the key events and people in New Jersey and the War for Independence.

Registration is Required!
