
This summer, the Rutgers Geology Museum is bringing the excitement of paleontology directly to us with its traveling “Unearth a Story” Fossil Fun Program! Join us at the Woodbridge Main Library, July 16 at 7PM interactive one-hour program introduces participants to the fascinating world of fossils, dinosaurs, and Earth’s ancient history through hands-on activities like creating fossil casts and naming a dinosaur. Each participant also receives a fossil kit containing real fossils.

Hosted by the Rutgers Geology Museum, the program is part of the museum’s long-standing mission to inspire curiosity about geology, paleontology, and natural history. Founded in 1872, the museum is recognized as the oldest geology museum in the United States and features exhibits highlighting New Jersey’s natural history, including fossils, minerals, anthropology collections, and “Manny” the Mastodon. The museum offers free admission and educational programming for visitors of all ages in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
