Cowtown Covered Wagon Tours

Saddle up for a uniquely South Jersey adventure! Auburn Road Vineyards, Cowtown Rodeo, Bullhide Brewery and Cowtown Cowboy Outfitters have teamed up to create Covered Wagon Tours, an unforgettable experience that combines the beauty of South Jersey’s vineyards and horse country with wine, craft beer, Western shopping and great food.

Beginning at Auburn Road Vineyards, guests will get a taste of the region with a wine tasting and vineyard tour before climbing aboard a covered wagon for a leisurely journey through the vineyard and the expansive horse and cattle pastures surrounding Cowtown. Along the way, a tour guide will narrate the experience as guests take in scenic views, watch horses gallop through the fields and see cattle grazing across the hills.

The wagon journey continues to Bullhide Brewery, where guests will tour the brewery and sample a selection of locally crafted microbrews made onsite. From there, it’s just a short trip next door to Cowtown Cowboy Outfitters and The Marketplace, where visitors can browse Western boots, apparel and accessories and perhaps even find the perfect custom cowboy hat.

Then it’s back aboard the covered wagon for the return journey to Auburn Road Vineyards, where guests can relax with another glass of wine and enjoy the vineyard’s wood-fired pizza. The approximately three-hour experience is $35 per person and includes a wine tasting at Auburn Road Vineyards and a microbrew beer tasting at Bullhide Brewery. Tours are weather permitting, with ticket fees refunded if a tour is canceled due to inclement weather. Well-behaved and closely supervised children are welcome, making Covered Wagon Tours an experience that can be enjoyed by families as well as adults.

Guests are encouraged to make a separate reservation at Auburn Road Vineyards if they would like to reserve a table before or after their wagon tour to enjoy wine and wood-fired pizza.
