Carteret Fall Festival Will Be Oct. 28 In Carteret Park
The festival is from 1-4 p.m., including the annual children's Halloween parade, which starts at Cypress Street and Washington Avenue:
CARTERET, NJ — The annual Carteret Fall Festival and Halloween parade will be Saturday, Oct. 28 in Carteret Park.
The Fall Fest is a long-standing tradition in Carteret. The Festival, which runs 1-4 p.m., will feature pumpkin picking, face painting, a moon bounce, cider, cookies, candy, guess the weight of the giant pumpkin, prizes, live and DJ music and the annual Children’s Halloween Parade.
The parade lineup begins at 12:30 p.m. on the corner of Cypress Street and Washington Avenue. The parade route is Cypress Street to Carteret Avenue.

Carteret Mayor Dan Reiman and the Borough Council also are offering a Halloween House Decorating Contest. Residents can participate by submitting a jpeg of their decorated home to the recreation department at RecDept@Carteret.net by Oct. 25 along with their name, address and telephone number.
A winner will be announced on Nov. 1 on the Carteret Health and Recreation Facebook page at facebook.com/CarteretHealthandRecreation
