In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Children’s Department is pleased to host award-winning children’s book illustrator & author, Eric Velasquez (http://ericvelasquez.com/) Saturday, September 22 @ 2PM!
A winner of the Pura Belpre award for his book, Grandma’s Gift, Eric Velasquez will share his experiences illustrating & writing children’s books. A selection of his books will be available for sale & there will be a book-signing at the conclusion of the program. Come meet this acclaimed illustrator & author.
