Cesar's Issues Dog Food Recall Over Plastic Pieces
The recall is because of a potential choking risk from small pieces of plastic that entered the food during the production process.

Do you buy Cesar's brand of dog food? Cesar's is recalling a limited number of their cans of Filet Mignon Flavor wet dog food, the company announced Tuesday.
The recall is because of a potential choking risk from small pieces of plastic that entered the food during the production process, the company said. "Select packages of this product may contain small pieces of plastic, which entered the food during the production process," Cesar's said in a statement. "We encourage consumers who have purchased affected product to discard the food or return it to the retailer for a full refund or exchange. While a small number of consumers have reported finding the plastic pieces, we have not received any reports of injury or illness associated with the affected product."
Cesar's is owned by Mars Petcare US. This is only a limited recall and you can find out if your can of Cesar's dog food is affected by looking at the lot code on its lid:
