Colonia Street Dedicated Saturday To Woodbridge Vet Killed In Vietnam
Lance corporal Terry Lee Savoth was born on Jan. 23, 1948 in Metuchen. He was killed in the line of duty in Vietnam on Dec. 2, 1968.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — This Saturday, Sept. 9, Woodbridge Township will dedicate a street in Colonia to a man who was born and raised in the area, but was tragically killed while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. in the Vietnam war.
Lance corporal Terry Lee Savoth was born on Jan. 23, 1948 in Metuchen. He was killed in the line of duty in Vietnam on Dec. 2, 1968. He was 20 years old.
Members of Savoth's family, Mayor McCormac, the Woodbridge Township Council and the Woodbridge Veterans Alliance will be on hand Saturday to dedicate the entrance to the Heritage at Colonia as “Savoth Lane" in his memory.

Savoth Street is located at the entrance to the Heritage at Colonia Townhouse & Apartment Community, 445 Inman Ave. (across from the Evergreen Senior Center) in Colonia. The ceremony will be at 1 p.m.
