Comcast Store Opening At St. Georges Crossing In Woodbridge

Need to return your cable box? There will soon be a Comcast Xfinity store close to home for Woodbridge residents. Check out the new look!

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — Woodbridge residents, rejoice: You now no longer need to go to Union to find a Comcast Xfinity store.

That's because a Comcast Xfinity retail store is coming to the St. Georges Crossing ShopRite Plaza in Woodbridge.

Comcast has leased 4,000 square feet at the shopping plaza and will be moving into the free-standing former Bertucci’s restaurant building that used to be there. It will face Rt. 1. It is not expected to open until winter 2019.

A Comcast corporate spokeswoman said this is a rendering of what the interior of the store will look like:

The Woodbridge location will be the twelfth Xfinity Store to open in New Jersey. The center will provide customers a chance to test out the latest Xfinity products and services. There will be flat-screen TVs, interactive iPads and a dedicated seating area. It will be open seven days a week including evenings.

The St. Georges Crossing ShopRite plaza sits at the intersection of heavily traveled Rts. 1 & 9 and Rt. 35. There is a WestMarine there, as well as a T.J.Maxx, PetSmart, Pier 1, Verizon Wireless, Taco Bell, Verizon Wireless and blu alehouse.

The center is supported by a population of more than 356,000 people and an additional daytime population of 154,000 within a five-mile radius. The daily traffic count passing the property exceeds 100,000 vehicles.

Levin Management Corporation is the leasing and management company for St. Georges Crossing.

Moawad. ā€œThe outparcel site where this (Comcast) store will be located will be fully renovated inside and out.
