Diwali Food Drive In Woodbridge This Saturday

They will be collecting non-perishables in the Indiana Avenue school parking lot (256 Indiana Avenue, Iselin) from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.

ISELIN, NJ — This Saturday, Nov. 13 the Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh chapter of Woodbridge will host a Diwali Food Drive.

They will be collecting food in the parking lot of Indiana Avenue school 18 (256 Indiana Avenue Iselin, NJ) from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.

All the food collected will go to 10 Woodbridge-specific food pantries. They are asking the public to donate non-perishable food like canned vegetables, beans, peanut butter, rice, quinoa, canned fruits, fruit and vegetable juices, pasta sauces, pasta, oatmeal, soups, etc.
