Dog Rides NJ Transit Train All Day, Owner Sought
Who owns this dog? He was found last week riding a Northeast Corridor train from Morrisville, PA to New York City and back.

Elizabeth, NJ - His nickname is Hobo. And that's because this Shih Tzu was found last Thursday riding back and forth on a Northeast Corridor NJ Transit train.
Hobo was first seen in NJ Transit's Morrisville, PA maintenance yard at about 8:30 a.m. Thursday morning, Sept. 8. Then, at about 4:30 p.m. later that day, he was seen riding on a Northeast Corridor train up in Elizabeth, NJ.
"One of the conductors found him. He was running back and forth on the train. So we think he was riding the train back and forth between Pennsylvania and New York City all day," said Collene Freda-Wronko, who helped rescue him.

Hobo was taken to the Elizabeth shelter, where he was held for a mandatory 7 days. But on Friday, a volunteer with Husky House, an animal rescue group, pulled him from the shelter and is now trying to locate his owner, said Freda-Wronko.
"We are trying to locate his owner, who could be anywhere from Morrisville, Pennsylvania to New York City and anywhere in between," she said. He is an approximately one year old, white and cream, an unneutered male Shih Tzu with one blue eye and one brown eye. This is a photo of him at the groomer's Friday.
