The New Jersey Chapter of Team In Training will hold an information meeting and kick-off reception February 4 starting at 9 am at the Woodbridge Hilton in South Iselin. According to its website, www.teamintraining, the organization provides information about the world's largest endurance sports training program and has trained over 540,000 participants and raised more than $1 billion to fund research and treatment advances for cancer patients in the U.S. and abroad. The free informational meetings offer individuals a way to "receive hands-on coaching to walk or run marathons or half marathons, cycle a 100-mile century ride, complete a triathlon or participate in hiking adventures...As a TNT member, you will raise funds in honor of a local blood cancer patient and in return, we will cover all entry fees, transportation and lodging costs to the event."
