There will be a Colonia Family Day Barbeque and Wiffle Ball Tournament at Lamont Swain Park in Colonia on July 28 with a rain date of July 29. The park is located next to Pennsylvania Avenue School #27.
Registration will begin at 11 am for the event set to take place from noon to dusk. Proceeds will benefit Isis Garcia, an elementary school student who has been diagnosed with leukemia.
Teams will be created for both a senior wiffle ball team and a junior wiffle ball team. Cost is $10 per player age 12 and up; $5 for children under 12.
