The Edison Chamber of Commerce will hold the following events in August at different locations in the township:
August 12. Community Wide India Day Parade, celebrating India's Independent Day. This event starts at Grove Avenue and Oak Tree Road in Edison at 12:30 pm. The parade will begin on Oak Tree Road and end at the Oak Tree Center at 1655 Oak Tree Road, Edison.
There will be a review stand near 1682 Oak Tree Road. Cultural groups are welcome to perform and/or march. There will be food booths and other vendors at the event.

August 15. Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony at Rebounderz, 76 Carter Drive, Edison at 11 am to celebrate the store's grand opening.The event is open to both Chamber of Commerce members and non-members. The ceremony will include an indoor trampoline arena for children.

August 16. Edison Walk Around. Chamber of Commerce members are encouraged to join cold calling teams from 8:30 am to noon who will be visiting area businesses.

August 21. Wake Up Edison Business Mixer. Business owners interested in learning more about networking can register for the "Effective Networking" business mixer at Skylark Fine Diner and Lounge, Routes 1 and 17, Wooding Avenue, Edison. The event will take place from 7:30 am to 9:30 am.7:30-9:30 a.m. There will also be thirty second Infomercial presentations. Cost is $15 for members; $30 for non-members. To register, click here.
