A special Civil War ceremony commemorating the 150th anniversary of the historical event is scheduled for August 6 and August 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the James Parker Press Park on Rahway Avenue in Woodbridge. Soldier drills, weapons demonstrations and Civil War displays are just a few of the exciting activities scheduled for the weekend event.
There will be Civil War books and other items on sale. A contest and prizes is also scheduled to take place. The event will take place rain or shine.
