The Second Annual Golf Invitational to benefit active military soldiers will be held September 27 at the Colonia Country Club. Local soldiers who are members of the U.S. Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps and Navy will benefit from the fundraiser which will include high dollar cash prizes as well as a new car, a $20,000 vacation and a Rolex watch.
The day begins with a 10:30 am registration and practice event followed by a barbeque lunch. There will be a shotgun start at 12:15 pm. At 5:30 pm, there will be an open bar cocktail reception and buffet scheduled to last two hours. Prizes and awards will be distributed at 6:30 pm.
Sponsorships start at $100 and a corporate sponsorship is available for $1,150. Both golfers and spectators are invited to attend the event.
